What to Do If You Have Coronavirus Symptoms

If you have any of the symptoms of the Coronavirus (Covid 19), you must not attend the surgery. Please access for advice if you are well enough to manage your symptoms. If you are unwell, please dial NHS24 on 111 at anytime.

The Scottish Government has arranged testing for anyone who has symptoms. You can book online at or by calling 0800 028 2816.

Annual Influenza Vaccinations – By Appointment Only. Face Masks Must Be Worn.

The Surgery will be telephoning all eligible patients (as per Scottish Government Guidelines) to offer them a flu vaccination appointment here at the surgery. Some local pharmacies are undertaking vaccinations this year. Click here for a list of pharmacies offering the vaccination to eligible patients free of charge. If you wish to go to a pharmacy you MUST take a flu passport letter from the GP practice. Please telephone us (after 11:00am Monday – Friday) and we will arrange for the letter to be printed off for you to collect. You then need to contact a pharmacy and book an appointment. If you attend the pharmacy without the letter, you will be refused a vaccination.

Appointments at the Surgery – Non-Coronavirus Symptoms

All appointments are by telephone initially. You can prebook for a GP/ANP but if your contact is urgent please telephone between 8:30am and 10:30am for urgent on the day triage. An ANP will call you back, possibly from a withheld number. If you are given an appointment, please attend alone at the time of your appointment and please wear a mask.

A Video Consultation might be arranged instead. The Clinician will decide which is more suitable. Click here for the instructions on how to access a pre-arranged video consultation.

Prescription Requests

All prescription requests must be made by telephone (after 11:00am) or online via this website. Your prescription will be sent to the pharmacy of your choice for collection there. Allow up to 3 working days for collection at the pharmacy. We cannot turn around prescriptions in one day. It is impossible due to the numbers of prescription requests we receive and we cannot issue scripts at the reception desk. Footfall at the health centre must continue to be reduced due to social distancing guidelines.
