From 17th May 2021, we are asking patients to use the eConsult programme as the first point of patient contact. This is available via this webpage. Please complete an eConsult and a Clinician with get back to you within one working day. Parents can complete on behalf of their child. A small number of telephone appointments will be available but you may have to wait if you wish to speak to a Doctor. The reception staff cannot offer telephone appointments where they do not have them, so if you cannot wait for the next available telephone appointment, you will be advised to use eConsult. Requests for test results, fit notes and admin letters should also be done via eConsult.
Urgent on the day issues can be taken over the telephone between 8.30amd and 10.30am only and they will be triaged. The Triage Nurse will decide if it is suitable for the patient to be seen at the surgery and with which clinician. Be prepared to give the telephonist brief details and a contact number. You may receive a call from us via a withheld number so be prepared to accept the call.
Entry to the Health Centre will continue to be by Buzzer. Please wait for a member of staff to invite you in. Prescriptions will continue to be sent to your choice of Pharmacy.
